Position: Guest Assistant

Job Description:

Responsible for professionally ensuring the happiness, comfort, convenience and satisfaction of all patrons by meeting and/or anticipating their needs while guests of our hotel. your duties include:

  • SMILES and WELCOMES all patrons, in person, telephonically and/or electronically
  • Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests
  • Answers calls, makes reservations, transfers calls to guest rooms
  • Learns hotel facilities and amenities and communicate important ones during check-in
  • Attitude and behavior should be oriented towards delivering SUPERIOR SERVICE
  • Demonstrates knowledge of local attractions and provide clear directions to popular destinations. Provides written directions and maps where necessary
  • Demonstrates familiarity with several local restaurants, locations and directions
  • Exhibits confidence in handling guests’ questions, issues and concerns, and take ownership in meeting guests’ needs in a calm, efficient and professional manner
  • Assists guests with tours, shows and restaurants’ reservations and arrange transportation for the guests when needed
  • Reconciles Shift accounts
  • Collects payment of Guest Bills
  • Sundry/gift shop Cashier
  • Responds to the direction of the general manager, assistant general manager and/or desk supervisor
  • Works closely with housekeeping and maintenance departments to maintain status of rooms’ readiness, proper function and guest requests.
  • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualification: Minimum Associate’s Degree and pervious Front Desk experience is desirable
